Commuting to Meetings Years Ago

Rebuilt J3 Piper Cub belonging to my friend, Rev. Ray Rogers.

Years ago I learned to fly a J3 Piper Cub like the one pictured above and used it
to commute between churches I pastored a Church near Lexington, Kentucky and one in Cincinnati, Ohio simultaneous. I also flew the cub and landed on hillsides near country churches for Sunday afternoon
services. Great crowds came to see me land and stayed for services.

Model T Fords had a part in my ministry. In the beginning of my ministry I rode to my revivals with others in Middle Ts. Then I bought my own Model T for only fifteen dollars.and drove it to meetings for a time. Years later I bought the one
pictured above and used it to advertise my tent meetings.
