Bragging Rights We didn't try for it, but we won a prestigious web site award. On February 26, 2001, we were awarded a Golden Web Award by the International Association of Webmasters and Designers. The I.A.W.M.D. has members in 129 countries, worldwide.
This is the most popular and sought after award available. Our web site was judged by a panel of judges on Design, Content, and Originality. The International Association of Webmasters and Designers state: “The criterion for winning remains a challenge to even the best Webmasters, artists and designers.” The reward was given to us in recognition of our pursuit of web site excellence.
When I set out to design our web site, winning an award was the farthest thing from my mind. I only wanted to do my best to design a site that would glorify the Lord and be a blessing to people around the world. I am grateful for the award, our second, primarily because it will cause more people to visit our web site, and that will give us an opportunity to be a blessing to more people.
